Why are we here?
Every year, valuable construction materials are buried in landfills despite having the potential for beneficial reuse.
At GypCycle, we believe there is a better way.
We were founded to help contractors, transfer stations, counties, and landfill operators divert recoverable materials from disposal and return them to productive use. Our first focus is source-separated drywall, but our mission extends beyond a single material.
By creating practical, transparent, and scalable diversion solutions, we help our partners reduce waste, preserve landfill airspace, improve sustainability performance, and support local recycling markets.
We believe recycling should be more than a checkbox. Materials should be tracked, processed responsibly, and directed toward meaningful end uses whenever possible.
As we grow, our vision is to become a trusted partner for construction material diversion across the Midwest—helping communities transform waste streams into valuable resources.
Because the best material for a landfill is the one that never ends up there in the first place.
